How to Reduce Blur in Videos, Images, and Compositions?

In rendered images or videos we create, we sometimes encounter blurry scenes and unclear visuals. This problem usually occurs when low-resolution videos are scaled up or when content is rendered at a low resolution. For example, we may render a phone screen but the text becomes unreadable, or an AI-generated video may appear blurry with no sharp edges visible. As a result, the overall image or video looks low quality. You can compare the difference by looking at the image example below.

Although this solution does not completely eliminate the problem, it can significantly reduce it. With this script created using Claude.ai, we can make videos and images look more vivid, reduce blur, and create sharper edges.

How to Use the Effect

Download the script shared at the end of the article and place it in the following folder. Windows: C Drive > Program Files > Adobe > Adobe After Effects > Support Files > Scripts > ScriptUI Panels Mac: /Applications/Adobe After Effects/Scripts/ScriptUI Panels After doing this, the script will permanently appear at the bottom of the Window panel inside After Effects and can be accessed easily. To apply the effect, simply select the image, video, or composition layer you want to use and click the Apply button.

Please note that depending on the size of the image or video, the Blur Radius value may need to be increased or decreased
